Morning Sun and Amaryllis

I am obsessed with my amaryllis plant. It grows so quickly that I feel the need to check it often for changes, though I've stopped just short of measuring it for comparison. Yesterday, one of the buds got a little crack in the side that keeps widening, and I keep going back to see if it has exploded yet. Today, I could see red! I just loved the way the sun was coming through its leaves when I came downstairs this morning. There is something special about the morning sun that warms you from the inside just at the sight of it.
