Uncle Harry

Please continue to keep my uncle and his family in your prayers. The doctors were able to clean up and repair the right arm, and he has moved that hand, but they were unable to close up the left shoulder where the arm was severed. It was too dirty, so they left it open for a few days. Later, they will do another surgery. They will have to take skin grafts because there was not enough left to cover the hole. They drained something like 750 cc of bloody fluid off of his right lung last night, and he has had 8 units of blood and some platelets. He has not been able to move his legs, and the doctors are concerned that he may also have spinal damage and may be paralyzed.
