Perhaps we need to look at giving differently. May I also suggest Buckner International (http://www.buckner.org/voice.shtml), to which we choose to donate? Every penny, 100% goes to help "the least of these" because administrative costs are paid through a separate fund.

Excellent! And thought -provoking. Imagine what would happen if we all, just Christians, would do that!
Well said! Another option: buy your presents at a charity auction! Kids get gifts, lives are changed.
