It has finally arrived...

The tooth that has been holding out on us finally broke through last night! Garin now has four teeth. We're hopeful that there will be a reprieve from the constant drool and biting, at least for a little while!

We're still trying to decide what to do about going to church today. We missed last week after staying out late at the ball, so we really hate to miss again today. The problem is that Garin, though feeling better, is still very congested. I can't put him in the nursery that way and risk infecting other kids, but he has far too much energy these days to sit through worship. I would end up spending most of the time in the welcome area. Add to this that it's NASCAR weekend in Dover, and the traffic will be atrocious, and we're still debating whether to go or not. We miss it so much when we don't go, and we'll be in Illinois next weekend.

It's another beautiful day here, but we're expecting a high of 90, which is 15-20 degrees higher than we've had the last week or two. It's probably our last really warm day, as it seems to be getting cooler all the time. I love autumn! I just wish winter wasn't coming along behind it. Actually, I enjoy it right up until New Year's Day, but January and February can be so cold and gray. The nice thing about those months, though, is that we spend more time together indoors, and there is more time to do those household or crafty projects that take a back seat during the busy summer months! Yes, I have lots of plans for this winter!
