Well, the deployment is barreling down on us. Time disappears so quickly. We are now counting down hours rather than days. There just aren't enough days left to count. Four and a half months seem short when you look back on them, but I think they will seem longer while we wait for Karl's return. We'll stay busy, and we're thankful that it isn't a longer deployment or a more dangerous assignment, such as the ones the Army and Marines have. Still it doesn't make this easy.
We spent last week back home with family and came back exhausted, but it was so good to see everyone. Now we're doing all the last minute stuff that needs to be taken care of before Karl leaves.
I'll write more once he's gone, I promise. For now, I just don't feel much like blogging. Please keep us (and all of the families going through separation due to deployments) in your prayers.
