Well, the Cards didn't look so good last night, did they?! Hopefully they'll get the kinks worked out before tonight's game!!!
I missed church again yesterday with a sick baby. He's not really sick anymore, but the cough and runny nose are still bad enough that I couldn't take him to the nursery. I know I wouldn't want to drop my child off and see a kid in there hacking and snorting. Everything seems off when I miss worship, and I'm praying that we're all healthy next week. It may be our last chance to go as a family for awhile, as Karl is scheduled to start flying missions like crazy starting next week.
This morning we are headed to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to see Garin's pediatric urologist. I expect that they will schedule the surgery today, and though I'm a little nervous, I'm ready to just get it over with. I hate the thought of it all, but it needs to be done. Hopefully we can schedule it for early-mid November (or right away, so Karl will be here).
It's a gorgeous day for the drive to PA, and it's already 9:45! I gotta go get ready!
