P.S.

I just logged onto Facebook and saw that my 16-year-old son ranked me as bravest and most trustworthy in comparison to his other Facebook friends.

High praise, folks.....humbling.....incredibly moving.....really something....*sniff*

Come to think of it, I don't mind being invisible sometimes after all. I am loved (and trusted!), and that is more than enough for this mom.

I hope one day my children see me the way your son sees you. That's a huge compliment to the type of mom you are (I could already tell by your posts). Congratulations to you and your son.
