UPDATE: Ron is improving and is stable. Please continue to keep him in your prayers.
Just a quick note to request prayers. My sister's father-in-law, Ron, was having dialysis today when his heart stopped. They were able to revive him, and he is breathing on his own, but his heartbeat is very irregular. He cannot speak and seems to be disoriented and in pain. They are concerned that he may not survive. My brother-in-law (his son) is in the air on his way to a conference and can't be reached right now, and my sister and the kids are making the drive to East Texas this afternoon to be there if they are needed. There are other stressful events occuring in the extended family right now, and they really need our prayers for strength and peace as well.
