Saturday was set aside as Matt's pretend birthday, since he wasn't here for the real one last month. I made omelets at his request, and I am pleased to say that they met with huge compliments from my "birthday boy," which thrilled my soul. In the afternoon, we went bowling, the boys spent a few minutes in the play area at the lanes, and then we went out for some fresh seafood...YUM! When we got home, we enjoyed in ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. Here are some highlights. I think Garin has watched us play Wii bowling too much, as evidenced by the way he raises his arms and says "yesss!" every time he rolls the ball.
My apologies for the cleavage shots. This is what happens when my husband mans the camera. ;0)

Would you share what the present is? I couldn't tell
Oh sure! It was just a Nerf dart gun (revolver-style with six foam darts). We had already gotten and installed additional memory for his laptop, and he wants to shop for clothes at the beach outlet malls, but I didn't want his "birthday" to be gift-less. We had dinner at some friends' house the night before, and he spent the whole time playing with Ted's guns like that, so it seemed like a good idea. After having darts stuck to fan blades, windows, appliances, etc. for the last five days, I'm not as certain. ;o)
