It was a mess, and I believe that Garin may be permanently stained (as in green-food-dye-in-Mom's-makeup-will-make-a-great-ghost-face-for-the-kids type of stain), but we had fun! We were slow getting started this morning and ended up attending the 11:00 service at church. We grabbed Applebee's for lunch and headed home. Most of the drive was spent singing and clapping loudly to the DVD Garin was watching in an almost futile effort to keep him awake until we got home for a nap. His eyes were rolling back in his head toward the end, but we did make it home before he conked out. He took a nice, long nap, and I washed both cars and cleaned the inside of the SUV. Karl cleaned the inside of his car and straightened up our outdoor storage. I made spaghetti while Karl went through some of his things to decide what can go to Goodwill, and then we had supper. Tonight will be vacuuming for me, cleaning doggie-doo out of the backyard for Karl, and hopefully some rest for all of us on the couch before bedtime!The very best news of the day, though, is that Eli got to go home today!!!!!
