Moving Along...

Just a quick note to let you all know that we got the approval on our last piece of paperwork needed to register our dossier in Russia, so we have a busy day tomorrow! We will get that page notarized, I will drop everything off at the State office to be apostilled and then hit the road to Harrisburg, PA, to have the last piece of our home study agency's paperwork apostilled. I will fedex it from PA and head home. Karl will pick up the apostilled papers here in DE and fedex them tomorrow afternoon. So, if all goes according to plan (haha...as if!), everything will be at the agency Monday and can hopefully be sent to Russia on Tuesday. There is at least a chance, then, that our documents can be registered the following Tuesday. PRAY!!! :o)

Hi Lori, I'm Cindy Hayre, and your mom and my mom were first cousins. I read your blog often and keep up with your adoption process. Our only child is adopted from China, so I know part of what you're going through! It took us two years to get Addie, and there were times I didn't think it would ever happen. But as soon as she was in my arms, I knew all the time and trouble it took to get her were worth every minute. I'll continue to keep your family in my prayers and hope the rest of the process goes very smoothly for you. Take care, Cindy

Hi Cindy! Thank you for your comments, encouragement, and prayers, Cousin! I have heard a lot about you and look forward to meeting you and your precious Addie someday. It can be a very frustrating process at times, but quitting is not an option when a piece of your heart is overseas. I look forward to the day when we can look back and wholeheartedly say, "It was all worth it!"
