Remember the old Eddie Rabbitt song??? It's been one of those snuggle-up-on-the-couch days - cloudy, rainy and cozy. And the rain has gotten heavier this evening. It is a wonderful spring soaker! By the time the sun comes out again in a few days, I won't have such romantic notions of the rain, I'm sure, but we're enjoying it tonight.
It's been a good day, overall. I had a brief meeting this morning that went well, and then Garin and I went to buy some Lactinex. I'm hopeful that it will solve his antibiotic problems. I had a nice, relaxing afternoon except for running back and forth to check my email, hoping for some dossier news. Well, that and having to change my entire outfit after Garin had a particularly rough coughing fit that resulted in a flood of slightly used chocolate milk and Robitussin down the front of me! How is it that he always aims so that his clothes remain spotless?! It's an art, I'm telling you!
Today was my Memaw's 86th birthday! I called her this afternoon and had a nice long talk. I sure do wish I lived closer to my family. Memaw is so much fun to be around; she is very witty and one of the most kind-hearted people I've ever known.
We didn't get any news on the dossier today, but I imagine our caseworker hadn't received any information yet. Hopefully we'll hear something tomorrow! Either way, April 28th has passed, and whatever might have transpired is behind us. Now we just wait to find out. I just don't want to wait anymore! ;o)
