Two Steps Forward, One Step Back

We found out today that it is unlikely our dossier will be registered on Tuesday. The home study agency is once again taking its sweet time turning in the remaining paperwork, in spite of the best efforts of our caseworker to push it along. They have promised to fax it to the agency today, but that still will not leave enough time to get everything done that must be before registering. We know that God can move mountains, and it could work out somehow, but if not, we are praying for April 22nd. Our wonderful caseworkers are doing all they can, and we have confidence that we will wait no longer than necessary if they have anything to say about it.

God's timing is perfect, as He proves time and again. In the meantime, we are learning just how patient we can be when we have to. It's a good life lesson, if not an easy one!

In happier news, after a 3-day 'vacation' in Sicily, thanks to a maintenance issue with his jet, Karl arrived home about 2 am today! He enjoyed seeing Sicily and promises beautiful photos of Mt. Etna from his jet. When he unpacks his camera, I'll post some here.

We are enjoying a lazy family day together, and we actually have a remarkably free weekend. We'll be bored by the time Monday arrives, but we all need the time to recoup and relax.
