Garin's surgery is over, and we are back home! Thank you all for your prayers!
We got up at 3 am, so he could breastfeed one last time before surgery. We arrived at the hospital around 5:45, and everything went smoothly when they took him into surgery. That was such a blessing!!! He had a great nurse who was entertaining him as she whisked him away. When they brought me back into the recovery room, he was waking up and crying, but he settled down once I got there and fed him. He is very, very groggy, and he is having some pain, but fortunately, he is sleeping most of the day away. Hopefully he'll feel better tomorrow. Everything went as expected, and he is in good shape now!
We're exhausted and headed back to bed while Garin's napping. I'll keep you posted. Thanks again for your prayers!!!
